Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
  • NCC Certificate: Possession of a valid NCC ‘C’ certificate with a minimum ‘B’ grade in both parts (theory and practical).
  • Age Limit: Between 19 and 25 years of age as of January 1, 2025 (relaxation applicable for SC/ST candidates as per government norms).
  • Marital Status: Unmarried

Indian Army 57th NCC Batch Selection Process

  • Shortlisting based on Eligibility Criteria: Applications will be screened based on the aforementioned eligibility criteria. Only candidates who meet all the requirements will be shortlisted for the next stage.
  • SSB Interview (Services Selection Board): Shortlisted candidates will be called for a five-day SSB interview process. The SSB interview assesses a candidate’s potential for leadership, intelligence, and suitability for life in the Army. It comprises various tests, including psychological tests, group discussions, an obstacle course, and a situation test.
  • Medical Test: Candidates who successfully clear the SSB interview will undergo a rigorous medical examination to assess their physical fitness for military service.
